January 2019 — July 2021

  • Developed accessibility improvements to reusable website components by working with LevelAccess WCAG 2.1 audit results.
  • Managed the audit, CMS updates, and migration of 52 websites to new hosting environments for a large insurance company.
  • Leveraged knowledge of PHP 7+ to resolve core security vulnerabilities in legacy applications using Concrete 5.6 and Zend Framework 1.12.
  • Mentored junior team members by walking through common development processes including build tools, staging environments, and deployment.
Digital Production Assistant

August 2018 — January 2019

  • Worked with designers to determine feasibility of implementation for Adobe XD and InDesign mockups.
  • Architected 10+ reusable components (ConcreteCMS blocks) by abstracting common sections of mockups into their core elements.
  • Recommended removal of outdated hosting, DNS, and email accounts by writing custom PHP and Javascript jobs to identify outdated or legacy configurations in shared hosting (scope of 150 to 200 websites).
Digital Technology Intern
  • Optimized execution time of a semi-daily data import script by adjusting loop traversal and external URL calls from over 2 hours to 45 minutes.
  • Worked with senior leadership to architect and lead development of an internal tool to catalog hosting information for over 150 websites using Laravel and Bootstrap.
  • Developed recommendations for future efforts in web accessibility, GDPR compliance, and code optimization based on market research.

  • Instructed students ages 12 to 17 on introductory to advanced concepts in both the C++ and Java programming languages.
  • Engineered a starter code package to assist with Processing (Java) instruction.
